Astrology Forecast For The Week
of
August 14 through August
21, 2008
I hope
this forecast finds you all well and you have been able to make some
headway
in regards to the eclipse on August 1st.
Many
of you have experienced this energy in a number of ways. The
possibilities are endless right now for wonderful growth and new
beginnings. And if this comes at the cost of letting something go
then you should, so the new can enter. The more you struggle with
details the harder these energies can be. We have a lot of planets
in Virgo now, (Mercury, Venus, Saturn, and Mars) and you may want to
go over every detail there is. But we shouldn’t and most likely
can’t. The best way to handle all this Virgo mutable energy with the
structure and security needs of Saturn and the freedom loving energy
Mars is to just let it be. Be where you are, enjoy the NOW, and you
will be amazed at the new and very different things that can enter
your life. With Mercury making an exact conjunction to Saturn on
August 15th, your words can be taken literally. So if you use this
energy to plan out a speech, very good. If you speak without
thinking first, then you may say more then you had planned on
sharing way too many details with
another.
Saturday
August 16th starts off with the Moon in conjunction with Chiron in
Aquarius and later in the day Neptune. Self-healing are the key
words for both of these transits and with the Lunar Eclipse only a
few hours away then once again we have a chance to find the balance
within. A balance of the ego, and the emotions, being able to heal
emotional wounds through understanding. Now this may not be the
easiest thing to do because all this energy is in the fixed sign of
Aquarius, but it can be done. Meditation is the best way I know how
to get to the root of any issue, but only if you are willing to see
the truth. This opposition of the Sun and Moon (The Lunar Eclipse)
can be about seeing both sides of a situation and finding the right
balance. It is also about endings and a culmination of
energy.
As I said
last time; events that follow an eclipse are more energetic then
regular New/Full Moons. They bring unexpected changes of direction,
if you have a planet that is touched by an eclipse.
It will also affect the house in which the eclipse
occurs. The August 9th eclipse was at 9
degrees of Leo and the eclipse on August 16th is at 24 degrees of
Leo/ Aquarius.

If an
eclipse falls within 3 days of your Birthday then expect an eventful
year ahead with big life changes. Do not fear these changes, it can
be wonderful.
Since the
2nd and 8th houses are involved in this eclipse then many of us will
wonder, or be shown, who among us is part of our support team. This
in turn may increase or decrease your self esteem for a little
while.
Mars is
also making a square to Pluto during all of this and that is
definitely a power struggle of some kind. If you have a personal
issue going on now then I recommend you back off a little till
things calm down. Do not intentionally push someone’s buttons. This
can and most likely will blow up in your
face.
I see
this playing out in the problems Russia and Georgia are currently
in, and with the Olympics happening in the spirit of peace and
harmony.
If you
are not like this, “a pushy person”, then you may experience this
from another. The same goes, just dismiss yourself from the
situation till things calm down. This energy is a big power struggle
and there rarely is ever a winner.
Now all is not lost. We have
two very lovely transits happening today as well which can soften
any harder things that may happen. Mercury and Venus are making a
Trine to Jupiter and that is easy going, fun loving and wonderful
communication.
With the
Moon in Pisces on Sunday, Monday and part of Tuesday emotions will
be at the surface. Spiritual and emotional understanding of any
situation can play a big role. Plus with the Moon making a
conjunction to Uranus you can be very resourceful and unique in your
approach to any given
situation.
Wednesday
and Thursday with the Moon in Aries and making a number of aspects,
these two days will be excellent for finishing up old projects,
especially projects that you really can identify with. The Moon
enters Taurus Thursday afternoon and this is the loveliest sign for
the Moon. It is very fortunate and also creative, plus there is a
grand Trine involving The Moon, Sun, and Pluto. What a powerhouse of
positive energy. Challenging and motivating at the same time. If you
need to present an idea to a boss or someone else, today is a great
day to do this. You are assertive, confident, powerful, and gentle
all at the same time.
